The short version

SqueezeLocal compresses images inside your web browser. Your images are never uploaded to us or to anyone else, and we cannot see them.

Your images

When you add an image, your browser reads and compresses it on your own device. Image data is not sent over the network. Images and results are held in the browser tab's memory and are gone when you close or reload the tab.

When you buy Pro

Payments are handled by Creem, which acts as the merchant of record and processes your payment details, billing address and email under its own privacy policy. We receive your email address, the product you bought and your license key so we can provide support and refunds. We never see your full card details.

License checks

When you activate Pro, your browser sends your license key to our license service, which asks Creem whether the key is valid. Your browser then stores the key and an activation ID locally, and repeats this check about once a week. No image data is ever included.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical request data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Visit statistics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and see which sites send visitors to us. It does not use cookies, does not build a profile of you, and never includes your images or file names.

Your choices

You can use the free version without giving us any personal information. To ask about or delete data related to a purchase, email support@squeezelocal.com.
